ABOUT THE WORK

Lost in L.A. comes from the Hollywood Rockefeller knew as a young man: pink stucco, hot red tile, palms against an unbothered sky. Across the series, Rockefeller returns to the same pool like a director returning to a set, moving the figures, changing the light, shooting it again. This is a city as a beautiful promise kept just out of reach.

Exhibited as part of Beau Regard at Marie Jose Gallery, London, 2026.
