
JONATHAN ROCKEFELLER is a filmmaker, artist, writer, director and theatrical producer, for stage and screen, renowned for bringing stories and visuals to life on a global scale.
Winner of Best Documentary at the AMA Awards, two New York Times Critics’ Picks, three Drama Desk and OBA nominations and multiple Broadway World Awards. As a former advertising creative director, he received a Cannes Lion nomination and several Clio Awards. Broadway honors include Best New Musical or Play, Best Play, Best Direction, Best New Book, and Best Theatre for Young Audiences.
In 2014, Rockefeller founded Rockefeller Studios to develop and present works based on high-profile intellectual properties for audiences worldwide. His productions – Disney’s Winnie the Pooh, Sesame Street the Musical, Paddington, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show – run simultaneously across 14 countries, captivating millions from New York to Tokyo, London to Sydney.
His animated film Little Death is currently in production, proving that creativity knows no borders… whether across continents or beyond the afterlife.
